The Academic Day
At Peak to Peak International School, Monday through Friday are the days we have class. Sometimes extra lessons which are required of the students.
Open days and school tours
- The school day lasts from 8 am until 3:00 pm.
The kids are taught by highly qualified personnel who treat them as unique individuals and work to meet their needs in order to help them reach their greatest potential. In the context of a broad curriculum that fosters creativity and personal growth, emphasis is placed on the acquisition of the fundamental literacy and numeracy skills. There are several chances for hands-on learning experiences. In general, the subject teacher instructs the students, but there is some specialized instruction in Music, Phonics, ICT, and physical education.
In the PreSchool, there are two parallel classrooms in each year group, and both boys and girls benefit from being in small classes. In order to develop a successful collaboration between home and the school, contact with parents is actively sought for. Written reports are given to parents, and meetings with parents over breakfast are scheduled throughout the academic year.
